The experience of the whole course has been great and a credit to those organising it. In a difficult time it has been good to be able to continue with the course. The only downside is that the whole day on Zoom does leave you very tired and drained. We have gelled well as a group and worked well together, being supportive and having good camaraderie.
We have been well taught and overall feel prepared to the best ability. The teaching has been good and engaging. . Anne-Marie Veitch
I have just completed the Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply with ESSP.
I looked at various different providers before signing up with ESSP and without a doubt the response and support from my initial enquiry right through to taking my last exam was exceptional, far better than other suppliers I reached out to.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course, I was lucky enough to be able to do the Gold module and found it enormously beneficial to be in the classroom environment with people from different industries, as someone that has been out of education and not taken an exam for over 20 years I was worried before starting the course but the level of teaching was fantastic.
The venue that our training takes place in is well situated with good facilities and catering which enhanced the learning experience, most importantly, I have absolutely been able to transfer the new skills and knowledge that I have learnt on the course to my job, and I am looking forward to staring Level 5 and progressing even further.”

“Studying CIPS level 4 with ESSP has given me useful tools and understanding of core aspects of purchasing. During a key negotiation with suppliers, I was able to prepare well and implement a Best Alternative To a Negotiated Agreement to allow me leverage. I manage to save my company in excess of £250k per annun
The class was wonderful, the students are very friendly made us feel instantly welcome and Kieran’s delivery is very good, a good pace of learning.
Mike Owers, Category Manager, NHS
The tuition given was from procurement experts who had a vast amount of knowledge to share with all of us students. The enthusiasm was noticeable and this encouraged us all to have healthy discussions between us in class and in doing this everyone was learning something new every week. Gaining knowledge of different techniques from each of the students day to day workings within their organisations. I have made several new friends from this course because everyone was very dedicated and aiming for high exam marks because of the fact that we were enthused by the tuition. The location was very good and getting everything we needed from ESSP made it a less stressful experience.

I have been very impressed with the level of support provided by ESSP for the Level 4 Diploma that I have been studying via the distance learning programme. Unlike other distance learning study courses I have undertaken (whereby you study in complete isolation) ESSP tutors set work, tasks and exam style assignments for each learning outcome within a module for which you receive clear and constructive feedback to improve your technique. For each module you have the opportunity to spend one day at their centre in Ipswich alongside day students to re-cap and revise which has been an invaluable opportunity. Structured revision days enable you to reinforce what you have learnt and adds context to the theory. Exams are undertaken locally in a clean, comfortable environment which provides convenience for home and work.

I just wanted to thank you for your help with getting me on the CIPS Module that finished Monday.
I also wanted to say that I felt that the group were fantastic, the learning environment was second to none and that it was great to work with a tutor who was enthusiastic and knowledgeable who wasn't on a massive ego trip.
I also felt at times that he was working harder than us to make the learning set in!
I shall be applying some of the things I have learnt here at South Norfolk as soon as I can.
Michelle Saunders, Purchasing Officer, South Norfolk District Council
I found that due to Vincent’s working in a ‘Risk Management’ role in a business environment, this has helped him
and myself put into
context the theories that we were discussing , therefore, relating the
knowledge better to my day to day work activities and improving my retention of the information.
All of the tutors' knowledge of their subjects and CIPS has certainly been most benficial on this course.

The course has given me confidence and made me think outside the box. I started to purchase differently as soon as started the diploma course.
Michelle Wright, The Economist
Everything is good - I am more than happy with the course - delighted! I have a greater awareness of the issues that affect commercial negotiations and in doing so am better equipped to adopt my strategy accordingly!
Neil Holland, Purchasing Manager, West Suffolk Hospital
I have experienced distance learning before and have never recieved this level of support . We get the support we need; feedback from Virginia has been excellent. Coming to the revision class with other students has been really useful. Distance Learning Student
